Systems & Warehouse Manager – Niagara Bottling
We are looking for a proactive leader to oversee and drive continuous improvement of the warehouse management system (WMS) and associated operations. The role supports the supply chain strategy, plans and monitors all warehouse activities, and ensures a safe, efficient, and technology-enabled environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee, manage, and directly drive continuous improvement of Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality and related network resources.
Perform advanced WMS configuration and lead initiatives to improve functionality.
Build and maintain a safe work culture and oversee safety training.
Coordinate technical support for site or network operations and system implementations.
Lead the warehouse operations team, including training, shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety.
Manage all aspects of inventory, including month‑end inventory and cycle counts to ensure timely reconciliation.
Schedule labor to meet demands and goals while ensuring reliable attendance.
Develop and enforce operational procedures for verification of incoming/outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and accurate inventory records.
Collaborate with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities with production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
Direct salvage of damaged or unused material and manage RMA processes.
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, orderly, and safe.
Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
Regularly attend shift and be punctual – attendance is essential.
Qualifications
Minimum: 6 years of experience managing a Warehouse Management System; 6 years in warehouse or logistics; 4 years managing IT systems.
Preferred: 10+ years managing a WMS; 10+ years in warehouse or logistics; 6+ years managing people or projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.
No required certifications; preferred certifications not specified.
