Role overview:

We’re seeking a

Senior Product Manager

to lead

cheminformatics product transformation

in life sciences. In this role, you’ll manage software products that empower computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and drug discovery scientists. Your portfolio may include

molecular design and visualization platforms, chemical structure databases, compound property prediction systems, reaction planning and synthesis design tools, and molecular simulation/docking platforms . You’ll ensure these products

enable researchers to accelerate drug discovery, optimize compounds, and gain actionable insights

while modernizing legacy tools into scalable, cloud‑native platforms.

What You’ll Do:

Lead

product transformation initiatives

for chemistry software products, balancing scientific workflows and technical feasibility

Translate complex workflows—from

hit identification, lead optimization, ADME/Tox prediction, molecular simulations, and docking —into clear product requirements

Collaborate closely with

computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and wet‑lab scientists

to ensure products deliver meaningful scientific value

Document product knowledge, use cases, and technical specifications; analyze current product landscape, business processes, and customer needs

Manage product development through Agile processes, attending planning sessions, stand‑ups, and ensuring delivery of requirements on time

Serve as the primary point of contact for business requests, map stakeholders, and drive engagement strategies

Requirements:

Strong

business analysis, stakeholder management, and product documentation

skills

Agile product development experience; proficient in

Jira and Confluence

Deep expertise in

cheminformatics, computational chemistry, molecular modeling, and chemistry software workflows

Ability to communicate effectively with

technical teams and scientific users

in chemistry

Preferred:

Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in

Chemistry or computational chemistry

Hands‑on experience with

molecular simulations, compound property predictions, reaction planning, and cheminformatics databases

Familiarity with

cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), HPC environments, and large‑scale scientific data workflows

Experience in

pharmaceutical or regulated environments

and managing

external vendor integrations

This role is ideal for someone who wants to
