About The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled, hands‑on

General Manager / Production Manager

with deep experience in commercial pool construction. This leader will oversee all phases of large‑scale pool projects—from pre‑construction planning through final turnover—ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong field leadership with operational oversight and has a proven track record managing complex commercial pool builds.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full lifecycle field operations for commercial pool construction projects, including excavation, forming, plumbing, shotcrete, mechanical/electrical systems, decking, finishes, and final startup.

Manage field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure strict adherence to plans, specifications, schedules, and safety protocols.

Conduct regular jobsite visits to verify quality control, OSHA compliance, and production efficiency across multiple active projects.

Lead scheduling, manpower planning, reporting, and job costing to maintain accurate project tracking and profitability.

Collaborate with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.

Standardize field procedures, implement process improvements, and reinforce best practices to enhance production performance.

Recruit, mentor, and retain experienced pool construction crews and subcontractors.

Ensure all permitting, third‑party inspections, code compliance, and closeout documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications

10+ years of pool construction experience, including 5+ years managing commercial pool projects.

Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple job sites with complex scopes and aggressive schedules.

Strong leadership background in high‑accountability environments with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Expertise in construction scheduling, job costing, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation.

Excellent communication, team leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Buildertrend, Procore, or similar.

Valid driver’s license and residence in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area.
