Senior Director CFO – Space Gold Business Enterprise (GBE)

The Space GBE is among the leaders in the high‑end segment, providing solutions for satellites and spacecraft. Honeywell has been part of every NASA crewed space mission for almost 60 years and is on board 950 satellites and counting.
This position provides financial partnering and leadership to engineering teams focused on profitable growth and product innovation. You will play a key role in managing financial performance and implementing key finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. The role includes partnering with Honeywell business leaders to influence strategic decisions and drive key finance initiatives that result in long‑term growth and enhanced profitability. The Space CFO reports to the Electronic Solutions (ES) Vice President, CFO.
Responsibilities
Drive Short Range Outlook management operating system (MOS) with focus on clear actions to achieve forecast while managing risk
Analyze monthly results for executive consumption, spanning all revenue segments including OEM, engineering and EAC analysis
Partner with business to formulate plans to achieve annual operating plan (AOP) and long‑term strategic priorities (STRAP)
Support development and execution of engineering milestones and key technology development
Partner with Defense & Space (D&S) customer business teams to achieve shared goals and business objectives
Embrace COO mindset to drive variable contribution margin and productivity, via opportunity identification, analysis, reporting, and execution
Support strategic initiatives, including Licensing, M&A due diligence and acquisition integration
Ad hoc financial support for Space GBE VP/GMs
US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or someone who has protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or who has the ability to obtain an export authorization.
You Must Have
10-12 years’ experience in progressive Finance roles
At least one role as a business/functional partner with financial results (P&L) accountability and FP&A
We Value
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other associated business major; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA preferred
Direct business interaction, independent problem solving, negotiation
Strong written and oral presentation skills with executive presence
Leadership – ability to lead and influence diverse, cross‑functional teams
Experience with Financial Management tools (SAP, Essbase, HFM, AMR, Tableau)
Experience working within a large, multinational corporation
Highly proficient using technology to improve processes

Problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to take ownership of projects producing high‑quality results
