The Head of Financial Planning will play a central role in building and leading the analytical foundation that supports commercial and operational decision-making across the business.
Reporting directly to the
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
— alongside the CFO — this is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership. The position is ideal for a driven finance professional who wants to operate at the intersection of data, strategy, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own the finance analysis function , delivering fast, accurate insights that guide decision-making across sales, operations, and supply chain.
Inventory & investment analysis:
Evaluate large-scale inventory and acquisition opportunities ($10M+), supporting strategic buying decisions and margin optimization.
Profitability analysis:
Build models to assess brand- and SKU-level performance, identifying growth and efficiency levers.
Operational analytics:
Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to evaluate costs, throughput, and process improvements.
Financial modelling & forecasting:
Create dynamic models to support planning, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
Reporting & dashboards:
Build scalable tools to monitor KPIs such as sales velocity, margin, working capital, and promotional ROI.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work closely with commercial, finance, and operations leadership to translate data into strategic recommendations.
Candidate Profile
Former
investment banking or private equity analysts
with strong financial modeling foundations.
FP&A or corporate finance professionals from
consumer, retail, or eCommerce
businesses.
High-performing early-career analysts from financial institutions or consulting firms seeking a more operational, commercial role.
