Responsibilities
The CFO is responsible for the financial well‑being of the corporation, implementing robust financial and KPI reporting, overseeing audit procedures, and providing leadership in M&A initiatives, including due diligence and integration.
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution of margin improvement and capital‑management initiatives.
Build and lead a high‑performing finance team that embodies a fast‑moving, action‑oriented culture while bringing the financial discipline, systems rigor, and strategic capabilities needed to scale the business.
Act as a “player‑coach,” frequently taking a hands‑on approach to problem solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
12+ years of progressive responsibility in financial roles at companies with annual revenue exceeding $50 million.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of urgency in a fast‑growing company.
Motivated by the opportunity to make a transformative impact as a senior leader in a high‑growth, market‑leading business.
Rolls up sleeves to understand the business from the production floor up, translating operational realities into financial insights and strategy.
Experience supporting the evolution of foundational systems, processes, tools, compensation plans, and KPIs that drive productivity and performance.
Strong accounting‑IT systems background with experience implementing cost accounting processes and managing margin/KPI analyses.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence decision‑making at a senior level.
Highly proactive, curious, and diligent in meeting deadlines and accepting responsibility.
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX area.
Preferred Skills
ERP or similar systems implementation experience.
CPA or MBA designation.
Acquisition and integration experience.
Previous experience as a CFO.
Previous industry experience in the CPG space.
