MaineHealth - Waldo Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its team here on the coast of Maine. The successful candidate will assist in the exciting opportunity to join a collegial Emergency Medicine team serving our Coastal Maine community in a per diem capacity. The ideal candidate will work in a very upbeat atmosphere working alongside other Physicians and APP's as well as great support staff. Qualifications
Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment. * Board Certification/Eligibility Required * Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment. * EMR Experience preferred. Belfast, Maine, is a scenic coastal community in the heart of a four-season recreation area. Surrounded by both lakes and the ocean, Belfast is a haven for boating, swimming, fishing, ATV trail riding, and sailing. The nearby mountains provide hiking and mountain biking with vista views of Penobscot Bay and our neighboring Island communities. Family ski resort, the Camden Hills Snow Bowl, is less than 20 minutes away, where you also may wish to ride the toboggan chute down at the National Toboggan Festival each year.
