We are seeking a board-certified Epileptologist for a 74-day locum tenens assignment in New Jersey, starting May 11, 2026. This role features a Monday through Thursday 8a-5p schedule, with mornings dedicated to rounding on epilepsy patients and afternoons spent in an outpatient clinic. Optional Friday half-day and 1:4 out-of-house call coverage are included. Ideal candidates will have expertise in epilepsy and neurophysiology, and leadership experience is highly valued.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-5p (8a-12p rounding, 12p-5p clinic); optional Friday half-day (8a-12p); 1:4 out-of-house 24-hour call

Responsibilities and Duties

Round on epilepsy patients in the mornings

Conduct outpatient clinic visits in the afternoons

Provide neurophysiology expertise in patient management

Participate in a 1:4 out-of-house call rotation with 24-hour response as needed

Collaborate with colleagues and staff to maintain high standards of neurological care

Demonstrate leadership capabilities, especially if experienced as a medical director, chair, or chief

Additional Information

Must be board certified in Neurology and Epilepsy or possess extensive experience in epilepsy and neurophysiology

Active New Jersey medical license required

Leadership background strongly preferred
