Senior Product Manager - Technical, Alexa Connections The vision for Alexa is to be the world’s best personal assistant. An assistant will play a vital role in managing the communication lives of customers, from drafting communications to coordinating with people on behalf of customers. At Alexa Connections, we’re leveraging Generative AI to bring this assistant to life.

If you’re passionate about building magical experiences for customers while solving hard, complex technical problems, then this role is for you. You will operate at the intersection of large language models, real‑time communications, voice and graphical user interfaces, and mixed reality, to deliver state‑of‑the‑art features for end customers.

Key job responsibilities

Own and define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap; manage trade‑offs and dependencies with key stakeholders; and execute on deliverables.

Work closely with engineering, design, and science teams to develop an offering that delights customers.

Drive product launches, collaborating with business development, Alexa partner teams, public relations, executives in other companies, and other product management team members.

Monitor the business and refine the roadmap.

Build calling, texting, emailing, and sharing experiences where Alexa acts as an agent to get things done for customers.

Coordinate with engineering, science, design, business intelligence, operations, finance, and executive teams to bring features to market and grow business opportunities.

Analyze service and business metrics, write PRFAQs, BRDs, and naming documents, and iterate on product decisions with the Science and Engineering team.

A day in the life A business owner, customer‑facing representative, and point person for partner teams, you will spend the week working with customers, partners, and internal teams to learn problems, analyze metrics, and drive product decisions.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience with feature delivery, roadmap strategy, end‑to‑end product delivery, and engineering discussions on technology decisions.

Experience managing technical products or online services, and advocating for diverse customers in executive prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, QlikView, QuickSight.

Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.

Experience with communication‑related B2C products.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
