Vice President/Director, Valuation
Description
Willamette Management Associates (A Citizens Company) is seeking a talented Vice President/Director with expertise in business valuation, including closely held company valuation, illiquid stock and bond valuation, intangible asset and intellectual property valuation, economic damages, forensic analysis, property appraisal, and intercompany transfer pricing analysis. The role is based in our Chicago office. Primary Responsibilities
Work with senior analysts to prepare and review quantitative valuation and other analytics. Prepare written expert reports, deliver oral presentations, and develop new client engagements. Perform financial advisory services primarily for transaction, taxation, and litigation purposes. Cultivate client relationships to develop, maintain, and generate revenue. Demonstrate thought leadership through professional publication and organization activities. Act as primary contact with major corporate and institutional clients. Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience preparing business valuation and expert witness reports. 5+ years of experience managing engagement workflow, directing staff, and interacting with clients. Demonstrated thought leadership and experience in accounting and management due diligence. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, oral, and written communication skills. Strong teamwork and collaborative abilities. One or more credentials: CPA, ABV, CFA, CBA, CVA, or ASA. Education, Certifications, and Other Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or economics (required). Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per week: 40 Work schedule: Monday to Friday Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $125,000 – $200,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including location, skills, and experience.
