About The Position
We are seeking an Analyst, People Analytics to partner with People Operations and business leaders to deliver meaningful insights that shape our people strategy. This role will own the development of dashboards, analysis, and reporting that inform decisions on workforce planning, retention, performance, and engagement. You will act as the bridge between People Ops and our data infrastructure, turning complex People Operations data into clear, actionable insights.

It is a full‑time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and analyze dashboards and reports across the employee lifecycle (headcount, retention, turnover, DEI, recruiting funnels, etc.)
Define and standardize key people metrics for consistent reporting across the company
Act as an internal consultant to business leaders, helping them make data‑informed decisions
Support workforce planning efforts by analyzing staffing levels, cost efficiency, and organizational design
Partner with leaders during key results and performance review cycles to align goals, calibrate ratings, and ensure compensation decisions are equitable and unbiased
Provide ad hoc analysis for People Ops and leadership teams including retention rate, performance calibration, pay equity
Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in hiring, performance management, and retention
Support recruiting analytics, including measuring quality, speed of hire and candidate funnel effectiveness
Lead exit interview analytics to understand voluntary attrition and surface actionable insights
Complete regular audits and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity and comply with data privacy and confidentiality requirements
Document metrics definitions and reporting processes to create a single source of truth for people data
Create enablement materials to empower HR and business partners to use dashboards effectively
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
3–5 years of experience in people analytics, people operations reporting, or a related analytics field
Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with a BI/visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (creator‑level license experience preferred)
Basic SQL skills preferred (ability to query, join, and clean data) highly preferred
High attention to detail, with the ability to story tell through accurate data and translate data into insights for diverse audiences
Inquisitive mindset with a passion to understand “why” and provide solutions
Experience with HRIS systems (UKG, or equivalent) and extensive knowledge of compensation processes, pay equity, and performance management calibration
Familiarity with statistical significance testing and basic predictive modeling
Compensation
$61.00 – $65.00 Per Hour + Bonus
