As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post‑processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross‑sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging applications:

MR Angiography (MRA) – cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular – EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL

MR Spectroscopy (MRS) – Brain, or Breast, or Prostate

MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo‑rectal coil

Interventional MR – MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsies

Functional MR (fMRI) – Brain

Therapeutic MR (HiFu) – Fibroid tumors

You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.

*Should you not meet the experience standards required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI Technologist position*

* Internal candidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder level*

Staff Technologist: $52.22 – $68.84 Hourly

Senior Technologist: $54.79 – $72.30 Hourly

Salary Range: $52.22 – $72.30 Hourly

3 years MRI Experience – required

Licenses

ARRT and CRT – required. MR certificate required

ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required

Venipuncture certificate – required

BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required

Graduate from an AMR Radiologic Technologist Program – required

AA or BS – preferred

Siemens experience – preferred

Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.

Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without direction themselves.

OR

ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required
