Endocrinologist – Physician - Outpatient
SGMC Health is the most comprehensive health system serving South Georgia and North Florida, operating four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties. It also provides ambulance services, an extensive medical office network, a cancer center, hospice facility, retirement center, skilled nursing facility, imaging centers, and urgent cares. Our service lines include heart and vascular, stroke, trauma, cancer, orthopedics, surgery, and women and infants.

Position Description
Full-time Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 5 pm
Friday 8 am – 12 pm
No call
Hospital-based employment
Competitive compensation and benefits including base salary, bonus program, health insurance, malpractice insurance, 401(k) with matching, CME time with financial support, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, and more.
Qualifications
Board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine
Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and referring physicians to provide high-quality patient care
Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development, and team building
Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record is a significant plus
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to create a positive and productive environment that promotes collegiality and innovation
