RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Dentist reports directly to the Dental Director. S/he will perform all duties as expected for routine dental care for children and adults including but not limited to cleaning, examinations, extractions, fillings, some restorative work, and uncomplicated root canals. S/he will work with Clinic administration on development and updating of dental protocols; perform dental work on patients; participates in Peer Review and the Dental QI/QA Program meetings in conjunction with the Medical Director; represent the Clinic at community meetings and events as appropriate. S/he will perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Mature judgment, tact, discretion and confidentiality are mandatory. Position requires a professional, pleasant and effective representation of the corporation. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California drivers license. Must submit to and pass a drug test and a criminal background clearance as a pre-condition for employment. Must be able to provide proof of vaccinations for COVID-19 and booster, Hepatitis B, MMR, and TDAP. Must provide recent TB test. BLS/CPR certification required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be licensed by the State of California as DDS/DMD. Experience in community clinic or other setting working with low-income, uninsured. Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Dentist.
