General Manager – JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown
Location: Atlanta, GA
FLSA: Exempt | Status: Full-time | Reports to: Regional Director of Operations | Supervises: Property Leaders and Team Members
Base pay range: $225,000 - $250,000 (plus bonus and benefits)
Job Summary:
Visionary leader responsible for delivering world‑class hospitality aligned with JW Marriott brand standards. Oversees hotel operations, financial performance, team culture, and guest experience.
Lead all hotel operations, ensuring luxury service and brand standards.
Drive ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR through collaboration with Sales, Revenue, and Marketing.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Build and mentor high‑performing leadership team.
Maintain compliance with brand, health, safety, and labor standards.
Direct guest recovery, VIP services, and event execution.
Guide capital projects and maintenance programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum 5 years as a General Manager in upscale/luxury hospitality; Marriott experience preferred.
Proven track record in guest satisfaction, financial performance, and service excellence.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency with Marriott systems (MARSHA, CI/TY, GXP).
Ability to work flexible schedule, stand/ walk, lift 20 lbs, and travel as required.
