About the role:
You will lead a group of 10 designers and design managers across Roundel media and Target Messaging guest experiences, ad‑tech, and marketing‑tech strategy, including AI‑driven innovation.
Responsibilities include:
Define and drive experience vision and strategy for Roundel and MarTech Messaging
Develop roadmaps with cross‑functional leaders
Oversee scalable, AI‑powered multi‑channel experiences and lifecycles
Oversee AI‑powered end‑to‑end marketing and ad‑tech platform workflows
Define service blueprints and UX success metrics to baseline and optimize outcomes
Prioritize across a multi‑platform roadmap, using design leadership and co‑creation methods
Grow the team’s ability to create high‑quality, accessible, AI‑powered experiences
Evolve the organization composition, assembling teams for cross‑area missions
Support growth of UX managers through 1:1s, performance management, and resources
About You:
10+ years in UX/digital product design with deep craft expertise
Foundational understanding of digital retail and ad‑tech businesses
5+ years people leadership, hiring, coaching high‑performing cross‑geography or remote teams; managing teams of 15+ a plus
Experience in large, matrixed, global or multi‑national organizations
Balance short‑term and long‑term thinking while raising quality and performance
Proactively identify and resolve issues that impair team success
Strong data‑driven visual, verbal, and written storytelling skills
Successfully manage many stakeholders through all phases of the design process
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid arrangement. Remote means full‑time from home or alternate location not a Target location, may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Hybrid/Flex means core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending on tasks. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
