Berkley Hunt
We’re looking for a true maker, a senior engineer with elite technical ability and the autonomy, initiative, and product instincts to act as their own PM. Someone who sees problems end-to-end, ships fast, and obsesses about delivering a world-class developer experience. As an early engineer, you will own major pieces of the product across the entire stack from infrastructure and backend architecture to frontend UI, performance, testing, and documentation. You’ll define your own roadmap, talk directly to users, communicate progress, and identify gaps before they become blockers. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who wants to build a foundational product in an early, hungry team.
Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
What You’ll Work On
Build and iterate on core product features across the full stack
Design intuitive, high-performance frontend experiences using React, Vite, and TanStack Router
Architect and maintain backend services with Typescript, Hono, Drizzle, and Postgres
Develop reliable cloud infrastructure deployed on AWS Lambda, ECS, and SST
Create internal tooling, automation, and DX improvements that accelerate shipping
Interface directly with customers to gather feedback and shape product direction
Write clear documentation, improve workflows, and establish engineering best practices
Frontend:
Typescript, React, Vite, TanStack Router
Backend:
Typescript, Hono, Drizzle ORM, Postgres

AWS Lambda, ECS, SST
What We’re Looking For
Deep expertise in full-stack Typescript and modern web development
Proven ability to self-manage, drive initiatives, and ship without heavy process
Strong product intuition and an obsession with the end-user experience
Ability to 80/20 effectively and move quickly while maintaining high quality
Willingness to fork libraries, dive into low-level internals, or build primitives from scratch
Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where impact is obvious
Excellent communication skills and comfort level interacting with customers
