We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Wisconsin, starting Jan 12, 2026, for a 120-day assignment. This full-time opportunity offers Monday through Friday day shifts, combining clinic and GI procedures, with flexible scheduling and optional weekday call.

Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterologist

Schedule: Monday–Friday, clinic and GI procedures (colonoscopy and EGD); Mon–Tue may be clinic or procedures; Wed–Fri primarily procedures; Friday can be half or full day based on GI suite availability; optional one weekday call; no weekends

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform upper GI endoscopy, including:

Biopsy

Foreign body removal

Fulguration of bleeder (cautery or laser)

Injection of varices

Conduct small bowel biopsy

Perform lower GI endoscopy

Conduct colonoscopy, including:

Biopsy

Excision of polyp

Provide both clinic and procedural care as scheduled

Additional Information

Wisconsin medical license required

Board certification in Gastroenterology required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Fellowship training preferred
