What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Meet or exceed territory sales plan and expense goals by developing and implementing strategic plans
Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted opinion leaders and healthcare providers
Maintain in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and relevant disease states
Develop and execute Territory Business Plans, ensuring effective preparation for sales calls
Attend regional and national conferences to enhance product knowledge and sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant therapeutic areas (Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology)
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years or 7+ years of successful pharmaceutical experience may be considered
Experience selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas preferred
Valid motor vehicle operator's license
Current experience within the territory and customer knowledge highly preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales, particularly within immunology or related fields
Strong clinical acumen and understanding of market dynamics
Experience with special programs such as speakers' bureaus or symposia
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
Demonstrated ability to utilize resources effectively to solve problems
