North American Partners in Anesthesia is looking for a Chief Anesthesiologist to join UPMC Hanover! UPMC Hanover is accredited by The Joint Commission, including being a Certified Primary Stroke Center. In addition, UPMC Hanover has achieved the status of Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, and Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus. Case Assignments

Diverse case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ENT and ophthalmology. No cardiac or neuro cases. Limited pediatric cases. Shifts Team Leadership Charles Rizzuto, MD. Responsibilities

Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment. Obtains and/or verifies patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed. Requirements

M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMC and FLEX. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician. Lifestyle Hanover, PA
