Job Description INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Woodward OBGYN, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, seeks a Medical Assistant or Clinic Nurse with Lela Cupp APRN‑CNM. The position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, providing exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities Medical Assistant
Gather and document patient condition information (lab values, pain levels, education needs, nutritional status, potential complications)
Contribute to the assessment/re‑assessment of patients
Monitor and document patient status
Participate in care plan development, including implementation and evaluation of interventions (may include non‑narcotic medication administration)
Manage large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette
Organize workflow to meet patient needs timely and, as needed, adhere to National Governing Board and Patient Safety Goals
Retrieve and transport medications when required
Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.
Physical demands may include moderate exposure to hazardous risks such as infections, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.
Clinic Nurse
Contribute to assessment/reassessment of patients
Participate in care plan development, implementation, and evaluation
Monitor for abnormal lab values and deviations from baseline
Report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate new orders when directed
Promote patient satisfaction and ensure confidentiality
Additional Clinic Nurse duties include charge management, documentation accuracy, reporting abuse, performing venipuncture, EKG, waived testing, bone density, X‑ray, sterilization, and routine patient care procedures.
Qualifications Medical Assistant
Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration OR 6 months clinic MA experience OR ability to complete INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP)
6 months customer service experience preferred
CPR certification within 90 days of employment
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
Clinic Nurse
Current licensure as LPN or RN in Oklahoma or a valid multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact member state
Current Kansas RN or LPN license required for INTEGRIS Family Care clinic in Caldwell, Kansas
Previous work experience preferred
BLS and/or ACLS as required by department
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
Both positions require drivers license and acceptable driving record if intraday travel is required (state license: Oklahoma or Kansas, as applicable).
