Base Pay Range $38.00/hr - $41.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Manage care for patients with central lines, ports, and various oncological conditions.
Provide acute care for conditions such as Tumor Lysis Syndrome, Sepsis, and Spinal Cord Compression.
Perform tracheostomy care, manage radiation therapy, and ensure radiation safety.
Conduct office duties including chart preparation, disability forms, and pharmacy calls.
Handle primary diagnoses of cancer patients and manage IV starts for adults.
Educate patients on new consults for radiation and manage side effects.
Collaborate closely with social workers and nutritionists for comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid DC nursing license.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least one travel assignment preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
