A respected boutique law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking two junior associates (1st – 4th year) to join its prestigious Bankruptcy/Creditors’ Rights practice group. This practice frequently handles high‑profile, complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, focusing on resolving disputes that affect creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
Provide legal research and drafting support for bankruptcy filings and creditor‑rights matters.
Assist in preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies.
Conduct client meetings, review case facts, and prepare briefing notes.
Requirements
1–4 years of litigation experience (law firm or clerkship background preferred)
Exposure to bankruptcy or creditors’ rights is a plus
Strong academic credentials (top‑tier law school performance)
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
District of Columbia Bar admission required (or eligibility to waive in)
