INTRODUCTION Leadenhall Search & Selection is hiring on behalf of a global professional services organization is seeking an experienced
Managing Consultant & Team Lead
to join its Digital Forensics practice. The firm supports law firms and corporate clients by transforming complex data challenges into clear, actionable insights. For more than a decade, the organization has delivered solutions across investigative services, discovery, digital forensics, data analytics, cyber matters, information governance, and expert testimony.
With teams operating across multiple regions, this role will be part of a growing forensics group and will help drive strategy, quality delivery, and team development.
ROLE OVERVIEW The Managing Consultant & Team Lead will serve as a senior member of the forensics team, supporting evidence management, technical execution, and client delivery. The individual will also play a critical role in mentoring junior team members through hands‑on shadowing, guidance, and feedback.
This is a hybrid position requiring several days per week on‑site, with occasional travel depending on project needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day‑to‑day direction, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
Oversee smooth execution of forensic tasks and technical workflows.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.
Deliver written and verbal coaching during scheduled review cycles.
Consulting & Technical Delivery
Coordinate resourcing and scheduling for regional forensic collections.
Contribute to strategy for lab operations and evidence management, including:
Forensic tools and software
Policies and procedures
Inventory and documentation
Chain of Custody (CoC)
Serve as a subject matter expert on digital forensics engagements.
Support business development activities such as client meetings, proposals, and presentations.
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in team and company‑wide meetings.
Track and submit time according to internal deadlines.
Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years
of experience in digital forensics, including evidence collection and analysis (professional services experience preferred).
Demonstrated success mentoring and training junior practitioners.
Strong expertise with leading forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Axiom, Oxygen).
Ability to collect and analyze data from a wide range of devices and platforms.
Strong documentation skills, particularly Chain of Custody.
Certifications (e.g., EnCE, FTK, GCFE) preferred.
Willingness to travel and support needs outside standard working hours.
Experience supporting expert testimony (reports, declarations, depositions) is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary Range:
$140,000 – $170,000
