Job Summary The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 hourly. Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
Required Qualifications
Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
2+ years RN clinical experience in Emergency Department setting.
This position requires flexibility to orient and work at UCSF Saint Francis Hospital and St Mary’s Emergency Departments.
Current RN ED experience.
Preferred Qualifications
CEN
BSN degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency with CERNER.
License/Certification
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Current healthcare provider CPR certification.
Current healthcare provider PALS certification.
Current healthcare provider ACLS certification.
