Family Medicine - Academic
AdventHealth West Florida is seeking to employ Family Medicine Physicians to join our Family Medicine Residency Program in Sebring, Florida. The program opened in 2021 with 8 residents per year. Obstetrics is not required but available. With a new program, there is availability to develop areas that are passionate to you.
Our 15,000+ square foot facility has so much to offer, from Prompt Care, to OB, to Family Medicine. We have a wide range of patients in our growing community and a variety of cases and procedures for the residents to have a great learning experience.
Program Details
Up to 24 students (8 each year up to PGY 3)
25 exam rooms / 2 procedure rooms
EPIC EMR
Responsibilities As a Residency Program physician, you will mentor residents, provide patient care, participate in academic teaching, and contribute to program development.
Qualifications
Board Certification in Family Medicine
Some academic experience preferred but not required

AdventHealth Sebring serves more than 100,000 permanent residents in Highlands and Hardee counties. In winter, the population increases by 40 percent. In addition to a 171‑bed facility in Sebring, AdventHealth operates a 33‑bed satellite facility in Lake Placid and a new 25‑bed Critical Access facility in Wauchula. With a total of 229 beds, more than 1,200 employees and a medical staff of over 150, AdventHealth Sebring serves 87,000 inpatient, outpatient and emergency visits per year. More than 1,000 babies were born at AdventHealth Sebring last year.
