Title Home Director I
Reports To Program Supervisor

Job Summary Responsible for all the operations of the community home under the general direction of the program supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
Direct overall operations and programming of one community home.
Oversee work performance of all direct care staff.
Create and maintain a staff schedule, ensuring it is communicated and published timely.
Collect, assimilate, approve, and submit all appropriate documentation for payroll processing.
Complete annual performance evaluations.
Ensure adherence to policies, rules, and regulations, and conduct discipline as required.
Conduct staff meetings and provide training when necessary.
Manage health and welfare of individuals served.
Schedule necessary medical appointments.
Advocate for individuals served rights when appropriate.
Schedule activities for individuals served.
Ensure fire and evacuation procedures are up-to-date and provide training.
Enhance quality of life for individuals served.
Participate in selection, placement, and training of new staff.
Manage care and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Schedule vehicle maintenance.
Oversee overall financial success of the community home(s).
Maintain finances within assigned budget.
Manage assigned petty cash.
Process invoices and submit them promptly to the home office.
Control overtime.
Maintain accurate house inventories (food, supplies, clothing).
Manage utilities, repairs, and transportation expenses.
Ensure compliance with annual survey standards.
Submit required documents on time (program notes, invoices, state documents, payroll, and financial information).
Oversee individuals served finances and enforce policies in administration.
Maintain relationships with families of each individual served.
Serve as a role model for individuals served and staff.
Enforce all company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience / Job Knowledge
High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
CMA certification within two years of appointment.
Three years of direct support experience and some supervisory experience preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
Capability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Adaptable with good decision-making skills.
Knowledge of basic computer applications, with aptitude to learn additional software.
Physical Requirements
Constantly moves to coordinate work.
Works in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Moves and positions objects up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.
Remains alert and observant during working hours.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise a minimum of six employees.
Special Requirements
May be required to attend seminars or job-related training courses.
Must demonstrate understanding, patience, and tact with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Must maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and contacts from other agencies or entities.
Must prioritize work tasks.
Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
Aptitude to learn other software programs as required.
Employment Variables
Must have a good driving record that meets company and reliable transportation.
Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Working Environment
May be required to work in a variety of settings, both indoors and outdoors.
