Join us as a Senior S&OP Planner at Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support every AWS data center and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep the cloud running. You’ll join a diverse team of technical infrastructure program managers, software engineers, data specialists, and supply chain specialists. You’ll collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for planning and execution while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. AWS Infrastructure Services designs, delivers, and operates the global data‑center fleet that powers every AWS service and spans more than 245 countries and territories.
The Senior S&OP Planner leads the supply planning inside the CDSA (Capacity Delivery, Supportability & Analytics) organization. You will own the 13‑to‑103‑week networking Demand Plan of Record (POR) and Supply Plan of Record. You will implement new supply chain strategies that impact the whole supply chain, scale existing capabilities by setting up new mechanisms, and critically analyze existing ones to support sales and operations stakeholders. Your charter is to keep demand, supply, power, and financial plans in lock‑step while building the automation and mechanisms that let AWS scale its GenAI and Core infrastructure faster, cheaper, and more sustainably. Success requires exceptional judgment, a builder’s mindset, and the ability to influence at all levels—from front‑line planners to VP‑level business owners.
Key Responsibilities
Run sales and operations planning process and cadence for all networking supply chain to ensure customer demand is matched with supply.
Monitor supply chain health through a suite of S&OP metrics to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
Develop and present supply and inventory strategies to execute new product launches, improve inventory health and supply plan accuracy.
Manage product lifecycle analysis to guide products from sustaining to end‑of‑life stages working with service owners, finance and supply chain.
Be the single point of contact for upstream and downstream partners in supply planning, performance tracking and reporting.
Partner with finance on annual operational planning, supply planning process and scenario analysis for supply chain investments.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Experience in modeling complex business scenarios.
5+ years of relevant experience in positions that require supply and demand planning, including ability to manage large volumes of data to support other functions that plan sourcing, production, and delivery requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise‑scale infrastructure or development‑based cloud programs/projects in a related industry.
Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication.
Working knowledge of SQL, Business Intelligence visualization platforms, Python, R.

Compensation: Base pay ranges from $133,800 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
