What this job involves As an Area IFM Lead at JLL, you will oversee all Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations and delivery within the Area, connecting IFM to other GPP service lines while bridging Regional IFM leadership to site‑level IFM teams. You will foster client relationships at the Area level, ensure contract governance requirements are met, and maintain high client satisfaction through collaborative relationships with other IFM Leads and operational IFM delivery teams. The role requires regular travel to all sites within the Area to drive excellence in service delivery and innovation in operational efficiency.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
Lead and manage all IFM operations within the assigned area, ensuring delivery of integrated facilities management services aligned with JLL and GREF goals and Leadership Principles.
Foster a collaborative and empowering culture, inspiring team members to achieve their full potential and contribute to organizational success through effective leadership.
Drive innovation in service delivery, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and exceed client expectations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, continuously seeking opportunities to add value to their business operations.
Monitor and manage financial performance, ensuring achievement of established financial targets while driving cost‑saving initiatives for operational efficiency.
Champion a culture of safety and compliance by implementing rigorous health and safety standards to mitigate risk and ensure safe working environments.
Proactively identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the assigned area, collaborating with business development teams for new business opportunities.
Connect IFM to other GPP service lines while bridging Regional IFM leadership to site‑level IFM teams through regular travel and relationship building.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities management with a management/technical emphasis and 8+ years of experience in facilities management.
Focus on integrated facilities management with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing IFM operations across multiple and remote locations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members across diverse environments.
Experience in translating client needs and balancing client and JLL interests, demonstrating strong business acumen and financial management capabilities.
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements with the ability to ensure contract governance requirements are met.
Leadership experience fostering collaborative relationships with other IFM Leads and operational IFM delivery teams for high client satisfaction achievement.
Ability to drive excellence in service delivery through regular travel to all sites within the Area while effectively connecting IFM to other service lines.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree with demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency and implementing innovative solutions in integrated facilities management environments.
Familiarity with technology solutions and tools for operations optimization, with experience promoting sustainability awareness and fostering environmental stewardship culture.
Ability to collaborate with sustainability teams to monitor key metrics and drive progress toward sustainability targets in facilities management operations.
Knowledge of emergency prevention and operational controls, with cross‑selling experience and growth opportunity identification skills.
Understanding of GPP service lines integration with experience bridging Regional IFM leadership to site‑level teams across multiple locations.
Background in contract governance and compliance management with the ability to exceed client expectations through innovative service delivery approaches.
