We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a robust team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytical algorithms to support business objectives.
Develop scalable data science solutions, from conceptualization to production‑level implementation.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages such as Python or Java.
Conduct rigorous statistical analysis, including variability assessment, sampling error evaluation, inference, hypothesis testing, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and application of linear modeling techniques.
Perform comprehensive data management activities such as data cleaning, transformation, mining, modeling, and quality assurance.
Apply artificial intelligence concepts and modern machine learning techniques to solve complex business challenges.
Develop and maintain end‑to‑end data analytics workflows, ensuring robust data flow architectures and efficient processing pipelines.
Clearly communicate methodologies, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Hands‑on experience scripting in Python.
Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and AI concepts.
Experience with data engineering practices and analytics workflow development.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong communication skills.
Security Clearance A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
Pay Range $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
