Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Work Location Anchorage, AK
Requirements
US Citizen and must pass federal background review and drug screen.
7+ years of engineering and construction management experience.
Bachelor of Science required.
Knowledge of airfield runway improvements and/or pavement resurfacing.
Experience with construction administration and large civil works projects.
Preferred: US Army Corps of Engineering experience, RMS 3.0, Resident Management System.
Duties / Responsibilities
Oversee construction management of ongoing civil construction projects for airfield runway improvements / pavement resurfacing.
Review contractor’s Quality Assurance Plan.
Oversee and perform three-phase inspections and surveillance of construction work to ensure compliance with contract and specifications.
Review design, comment logging and back-checking for Design-Build projects.
Monitor submittals utilizing a submittal status log.
Review and comment on accuracy of contractor’s requests for payment.
Review and acknowledge daily reports including verification of project schedule.
Maintain orderly working files for correspondence, minutes, payments, progress schedules, monthly progress reports, punch lists, field changes.
Review and process Requests for Information (RFI) and contract documents including amendments, notices to proceed, change orders, modifications.
Support construction contract modifications.
Perform critical path schedule review.
Physical Requirements
Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
Should enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
