Core Knowledge & Skills: Align infrastructure strategy to business goals, lead large projects, apply compliance frameworks, design high‑availability/disaster‑recovery and performance optimization patterns, and shape deployment pipeline design.

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise‑grade cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on provisioning and configuring Azure resources, automating deployments, ensuring security compliance, and optimizing performance across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Provision and configure Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.

Automate deployment and management processes using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell.

Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and availability of cloud environments.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with development and IT operations teams to support application deployment and maintenance.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud‑related issues and incidents.

Provide guidance and training to teams on Azure services and best practices.

Stay current with the latest Azure technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering.

Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, deployment, and management.

Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Active Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer.

Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on‑premises systems.

Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Experience with network architecture and security in cloud environments.

Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Targeted base salary range: $121,000 – $182,000 per year.
