All About Ultrasound is looking for an experienced Travel Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Boston, MA. The role is ideal for an independent, high‑volume vascular sonographer seeking day shifts and a competitive pay package.
Job Summary A Travel Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will work in a specialized vascular lab performing diagnostic imaging, collaborating with surgical and clinical teams, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid duplex, venous duplex (DVT, reflux, vein mapping), arterial physiologic and duplex studies (upper/lower extremities), abdominal and visceral studies (renal, mesenteric, EVAR surveillance), bypass graft and stent surveillance
Produce high‑quality diagnostic images using established protocols
Communicate clearly with clinicians and document results accurately in the EMR
Maintain patient safety and follow infection control and quality assurance standards
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of full‑time, post‑training experience in a dedicated vascular ultrasound lab
Certifications: required RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
Proficiency in digital imaging and PACS systems; strong understanding of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and testing protocols
Preferred: EPIC or similar EMR experience, experience in IAC‐accredited or academic teaching environments, experience precepting or mentoring trainees
Contract Details
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift schedule: 8‑hour days, Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Hours per week: 40, guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
Shift type: Day only; no on‑call or floating required
Locals: not accepted (must reside 75+ miles away)
RTO: Must be declared at submission
Parking: Paid parking available (up to $43/day)
Rehire policy: Must have 6‑month separation from any prior assignment at this site
