Base pay range Role Summary
The
Sales Director
will drive Snack's commercial growth in the U.S. market. This role is responsible for revenue delivery, distributor management, and trade-spend optimization, ensuring strong execution across mainstream, club, and ethnic channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Own U.S. P&L : Deliver net sales, margin, and trade-spend targets.
Distributor & Key Account Management : Oversee relationships with UNFI, KeHE, Kroger, Costco, Sam's Club, H-Mart, 99 Ranch, Seafood City.
Joint Business Planning : Develop pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and growth plans with retail partners.
Trade Spend Control : Manage promotional budgets, deductions, and ROI analysis.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory : Lead S&OP processes to achieve OTIF and forecast accuracy targets.
Team Leadership : Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including brokers, merchandisers, and account executives.
Marketing Coordination : Partner with Marketing on new product launches and consumer activation programs.
Reporting : Provide monthly business updates to CITO/CFO covering sales, margin, and deduction status.
Qualifications:
8-12 years of U.S. CPG/FMCG sales experience (snack or Asian food preferred).
Proven success managing distributors and major retailers (UNFI, KeHE, Costco, Kroger).
Strong analytical and financial skills (P&L ownership, trade spend, deduction management).
Leadership experience with teams and broker networks.
Bachelor's degree required.
