Description and Requirements Join Lenovo – Where Innovation Meets Opportunity. We are looking for a Director for Sales Training within the SSG (Services and Solutions Group). The Director of Training will lead the development and execution of a global Solutions and Services (SSG) training strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring our sales and services teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills to drive success in a rapidly evolving market. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for learning innovation and technology enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a worldwide training strategy for Solutions and Services, aligned with business objectives.
Lead and manage a global team of training leads, content creators, and support staff.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure training programs meet organizational needs.
Identify innovative methods to deliver training and engage the sales community, including virtual, in‑person, and blended learning approaches.
Embed AI tools and automation across all training processes to enhance efficiency and personalization.
Monitor and measure training effectiveness, leveraging data and feedback to continuously improve programs.
Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate best practices into training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in training, enablement, or learning and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience managing global teams and large‑scale training programs.
Strong understanding of sales processes and solutions/services offerings.
Expertise in leveraging technology and AI for learning solutions.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
This role offers the flexibility to be home‑based anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones. If you’re near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office – great for collaboration and connection!
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $160,000 to $220,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
