Responsibilities
Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning, budgeting, and overall technology roadmap to support the business needs and provide a reliable consistent environment for the user base supported.
Supervise and manage the staff for the corporation.
Advise and receive input from the CEO and Board concerning technology needs, projects, and resources.
Operate the core infrastructure and related services; ensure that network availability and key resources are “up and running” with redundancy measures in place for the corporation.
Develop and coordinate staff training opportunities to increase knowledge and expertise in the assessment, planning, development, design, and implementation of IT systems, hardware, data delivery, handling, storage, retrieval, analysis and connectivity issues.
Document policies and procedures to support the corporation for SOC, HIPAA, and HITECH compliance along with new standards emerging that align with the operation of the business.
Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure including but not limited to virtualization, LAN/WAN network, storage, phones, wireless, end‑user equipment, and security.
Establish, draft, disseminate and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures relating to network and hardware functions and ensure that such controls, policies, and procedures are consistent with business requirements and government rules and regulations.
Interact with corporate departments on needs, satisfaction, and opportunities.
Collaborate with staff to create and maintain the enterprise security architecture strategy.
Manage the skills of the staff and strive for excellence.
Manage vendor relationships for Voice, Data, Compute, Storage, training and software licensing.
Manage all Data Center/Closet requirements from Power, Cooling and redundancy.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess 10+ years in IT field managing teams and vendors with a track record of progression and success.
Qualified candidates should be knowledgeable and skilled in LAN/WAN design, project management and have a strong understanding of Virtualization, shared compute and SANS.
Candidate must also have a strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Licensing models, VOIP and Wi‑Fi across a campus.
Education Requirements Bachelor's in Computer Science or related study. Healthcare experience preferred.
