Role & Responsibilities We are seeking a highly experienced

Enterprise Database Architect Lead

to drive the architecture, design, and validation of enterprise systems in regulated manufacturing environments. The role requires deep expertise in

MES platforms (Siemens, Camstar, or similar) ,

enterprise database design , and

GxP‑compliant application validation . The ideal candidate will lead architecture efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the databases maintenance, disaster recovery for validated enterprise grade systems.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Database Leadership

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise databases supporting MES platforms and manufacturing operations.

Define architecture standards, data models, and integration strategies across MES, ERP, and other enterprise systems.

Ensure scalability, performance, and security of enterprise data systems.

Provide technical leadership for database development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Provide deep expertise in Siemens MES or equivalent platforms, including configuration, integration, and optimization.

Collaborate with production, quality, and IT teams to design solutions supporting manufacturing execution workflows.

Drive system modernization and improvements aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Lead GMP validation of customized applications and ensure adherence to GxP, CSV, and regulatory standards.

Develop and maintain SOPs, GRC processes, audit trail management, and validation documentation.

Support compliance audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Establish procedures for change management, risk assessment, and continuous compliance monitoring.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor and guide development, database, and MES teams on architecture, design, and compliance practices.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Production, IT, Compliance) to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Oversee system integrations, reporting, and data pipelines to support analytics, KPIs, and operational dashboards.

Required Education Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

12+ years

of experience in enterprise architecture, database design, or solution architecture roles.

Strong hands‑on experience with MES platforms (Siemens, Camstar, or equivalent).

Expertise in enterprise database modeling, performance optimization, and data integration.

Proven experience in GxP, CSV, GMP validation, and compliance documentation.

Familiarity with SOPs, GRC frameworks, audit trails, and regulatory inspections.

Solid understanding of system lifecycle management, change control, and risk management in regulated industries.

Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.

Experience with cloud‑based MES or data platforms.

Desirable Architecture certifications (TOGAF, SAFe, or vendor‑specific MES certifications).

Knowledge with modern data integration tools and analytics platforms.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full‑time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job‑related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part‑time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro‑rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
