Fabric Data Architect Infosys is seeking a Fabric Data Architect. The Fabric Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. This role ensures robust data architecture, governance, and integration across cloud and hybrid environments, enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Science, Real-Time Analytics, Data Factory, and Power BI).

Define and implement data modeling, data integration, and data governance strategies.

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data architectures.

Lead migration and modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to Microsoft Fabric.

Establish best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance.

Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Mentor and guide data engineers and analysts on Fabric platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ or Indianapolis, IN, or Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education is considered.

Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

Experience in data architecture, with at least 2 years on Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse.

Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platforms.

Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Science, Real‑Time Analytics, Power BI).

Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience in data architecture, with at least 2 years on Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse.

Microsoft certifications (e.g., Fabric Analytics Engineer, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.

Experience in Python & AI.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
