Pets Best is seeking a Senior Data Analyst & Governance to join the Pets Best Data & Analytics team. This role will perform advanced analytics to support strategic decision‑making, develop and implement governance standards, and lead initiatives that strengthen data stewardship across Pets Best. The position also supports enterprise‑level governance for IPH. You will champion analytics excellence, ensure compliance with governance frameworks, and deliver actionable insights through business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Governance Leadership: Define and enforce data governance policies across Pets Best and IPH IDEA, ensuring data quality, stewardship, and compliance.

Analytics & BI Development: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to monitor governance adoption and support business decision‑making.

Change Management: Lead cultural adoption of governance practices through training, communication campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.

Performance Measurement: Develop KPIs and analytics to track governance adoption, catalog usage, and data literacy improvements.

Collaboration: Partner with enterprise data teams, business units, and technology teams to align governance and analytics strategies.

Qualifications

6+ years in data governance, analytics, or related fields.

Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL.

Proven ability to lead governance initiatives and deliver actionable insights.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

Certifications in data management (CDMP), analytics, or governance frameworks.

Experience in insurance or regulated industries.

Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., MS Purview) and concepts.

Experience with analytics engineering tools such as Python and dbt for data transformation and automation.
