Statement of Work The FBI currently utilizes Maximo as its enterprise supply chain management solution. Branded as the Asset Management System (AMS), Maximo has been configured to meet FBI-specific needs. Under the Bureau’s System Operations Unit (SOU) within the Accounting and Technology Section (ATS), the IBM team uses Agile methodology to provide support for infrastructure, enterprise integration, software development, and technical support for the AMS application. In doing so, AMS supports business processes to include, but not limited to, tracking the lifecycle of accountable and non-accountable assets; managing asset receipt, creating tracking, maintenance, disposal, and valuation processes; providing greater visibility into asset history; automating commonly used forms and requests for service; and embedding workflow and email notifications into everyday asset management processes and preventative maintenance tracking. In addition, IBM performs these duties to support the annual enterprise inventory process.
Task Description The Maximo MAS Migration SME will have responsibility to lead a team of cloud migration specialists to migrate an existing configured COTS Maximo 7.6.x application environment from Red Hat virtual systems to the current IBM MAS Maximo Application Suite. The SME will work alongside a team of six individuals to plan, migrate, test, secure, document the asset management system for a global implementation with 50,000 users integrated into other enterprise data systems. During the upgrade planning and implementation process the SME will work alongside the existing O&M project team.
