Job Summary • The Director of Member Strategy plays a pivotal role in advancing the strategic priorities of CHA by leading initiatives that enhance member involvement, strengthen relationships, and improve engagement metrics. This position is responsible for leading data‑informed decision‑making processes to advance member engagement and organizational goals, fostering collaboration across departments, and managing strategic plan updates for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Advance the development and implementation of metrics to assess and enhance member engagement.

Develop and lead a cross‑organizational process to review engagement data, identify actionable improvements, and monitor progress.

Evaluate current member engagement activities and recommend enhancements to increase value and participation.

Support the planning and facilitation of key committee meetings, including Clinical Quality Affinity and Patient Experience Networking groups.

Facilitate efforts to identify and implement improvements in member service delivery and operational efficiency.

Lead project management efforts related to the organization’s strategic plan.

Track and manage due dates for strategic initiatives and tactics.

Ensure timely updates from team members and send reminders for outstanding items.

Maintain accurate documentation of strategic plan status, including new tactics and strategies.

Develop and present progress reports tailored to various internal and external audiences.

Collaborate with CHA colleagues to ensure strategic integration across departments and initiatives.

Collaborate with internal departments to cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with national Catholic and other faith‑based organizations, public health entities, and relevant partners.

Align partnership efforts with the organization’s strategic service goals.

Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, or related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.

3–5 years of project management and strategic planning experience in health care or an association setting.

Familiarity with Catholic health ministry or mission‑based organizations preferred.

Strong ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Proven experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and aligning stakeholders.

Skilled in developing group processes and managing organizational change.

Proficient in project management, planning, and outcome measurement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and using insights to share programs and strategy.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Location St. Louis, MO office with the ability to work from home subject to CHA’s policies on flexible work arrangements.

Position Pay Range The anticipated salary range for this position is $93,718 to $117,088 annually. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
