Rippling
About Rippling
Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
We bring the employee lifecycle together – from onboarding, to payroll, to benefits, to third‑party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365 – all within a single system. Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America’s best startup employers by Forbes.
About The Role We are looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Associate/Specialist to join Rippling’s Global Payroll Operations team. As we expand our product offerings globally, we need dedicated support to operationalize new country launches and maintain our rapid growth. This role will support the execution of our country expansion roadmap, help build scalable processes, and ensure a smooth transition as we introduce Rippling Global Payroll to new markets. You will play a key role in tripling our country coverage over the next year.
What You Will Do
Support the execution of Rippling’s global country expansion roadmap, working closely with senior team members to launch in new markets.
Assist in operationalizing the product for new countries, helping to define and document the in‑country process for payroll execution and customer support.
Coordinate the launch timeline and deliverables by tracking cross‑functional dependencies across Product, Engineering, and Global Operations teams.
Help develop and document scalable processes for day‑to‑day operations and new country launches, including SOPs and opportunities to minimize manual work.
Support vendor engagement by assisting with procurement, organizing documentation, and tracking deliverables from essential software and consultative partners in each country.
Assist with quality assurance by helping to organize and track country‑level requirements, ensuring they are clear for software implementation.
Facilitate the resolution of product bugs and issues by collecting details from internal stakeholders and coordinating with the Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams for quick fixes.
Manage and track key customer escalations and incidents, ensuring all necessary information is captured and routed to the appropriate subject matter experts for resolution.
What You Will Need
2–3 years of professional experience in a fast‑paced environment such as business operations, project management, or management consulting.
Bachelor’s degree (required).
Experience working in a fast‑growth or startup environment is highly desirable. Must have a “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” attitude and be adept at navigating ambiguity.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, project coordination, and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks across multiple concurrent projects.
Experience in global payroll, FinTech, or supporting international product launches is a plus but not required.
Based in San Francisco or New York.
