Electromagnetic Warfare Intelligence Analyst (Intelligence Analyst 4) - 26244 Join HII as an Electromagnetic Warfare Intelligence Analyst to support U.S. Indo‑Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) operations as part of a Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell supporting U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) at Ft. Shafter, Hawaii. This highly technical role focuses on Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) intelligence and ELINT research to enable freedom of action in a contested electromagnetic environment.

This opportunity resides in All‑Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. ADO integrates sensors, systems, and other assets to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision‑making across multiple domains. HII’s Mission Technologies division designs, develops and manages advanced C5ISR, AI, cyber and electromagnetic warfare solutions for the Department of Defense.

Summary The Electromagnetic Warfare Intelligence Analyst provides research, analysis and planning support to USINDOPACOM Operations Directorate. The analyst aids senior‑level strategic planning and briefings, prepares formal papers, and conducts ELINT analysis to support JEMSO operations throughout the Indo‑Pacific. The role identifies operational gaps, informs planning efforts and helps develop new EW concepts and capabilities.

What you will do

Aid senior‑level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for USINDOPACOM and USARPAC senior leaders.

Provide ELINT research and analytic studies to support JEMSO focused on USSPACEFOR–INDOPAC operations.

Research and analyze EW‑related national security policies, military strategies, and capability integration supporting USINDOPACOM operations with a focus on USARPAC.

Utilize state‑of‑the‑art ELINT/processing/storage tools and methodologies to maximize value to the operational mission.

Continuously assess the effectiveness of EW methodologies, tools and techniques, and provide feedback and recommendations to leadership.

What we are looking for

9 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; 7 years with a master’s; 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctor; or a high school diploma with 13 years of experience.

Experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) ELINT operations, capability development, and/or policy.

3 years of experience at a Combatant Command or Service Component headquarters.

3 years of experience in the Indo‑Pacific Area of Operations.

Familiarity with INDOPACOM Theater Campaign Plan, Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans, and Operations Plans.

Experience writing reports, graphics and information papers.

Experience analyzing operational data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Bonus points for

15 years of experience or more in EW ELINT operations.

Combined 10 years of experience in EW operations, capability development and policy.

Master’s degree or attendance at a Service Command and General Staff College.

Background in U.S. Army JEMSO operations.

Experience coordinating with DoD entities, the Joint Staff, INDOPACOM Service Components, and non‑DoD organizations.

Graduate of Joint Electronic Warfare Theater Operations Course.

Familiarity with JEMSO applications and databases such as FADE/MIST and CED.

Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
