Job Description Enertis is seeking a qualified Project Manager candidate to join our US‑based team Owner’s Engineering Team of professionals. This position will focus on the photovoltaic market, however contributions to the global engineering teams are expected.

In this role you will support our internal and external client services, including understanding and anticipating client needs and expectations, executing strategies to advance the client’s project objectives and manage risk, establishing priorities, promoting alignment of the project team, and resolving emergent problems.

Responsibilities

Overseeing execution of Utility Scale PV Solar projects through the development, design, construction, and commissioning phases.

Maintain an intimate knowledge and understanding of project documentation.

Oversee project execution through the project lifecycle to ensure scope, cost, schedule, and quality goals are met.

Manage stakeholder meetings and communications to monitor project status, track deliverables, as well as identify and mitigate potential risk.

Prepare regular status reports for the client to identify and communicate risks to scope, cost, and schedule and develop mitigation plans and recommendations for said risks.

Assist the client with the maintenance and retention of key project documents.

Review the EPC Contractor’s progress reports and analyze the project schedule, cost, and quality documentation and provide recommendations to the client.

Provide technical support on the construction methodology proposed by the EPC Contractor, evaluating advantages, disadvantages and potential cost savings or increasing costs associated with variation claims.

Review and approval of submittals, CO, RFI, and NCRs, to determine their validity against the specifications of the EPC Contract and known local conditions of the project site. Recommend appropriate resolution and direction to client. Monitor open submittals to ensure close‑out within EPC guidelines.

Work closely with EPC Contractor, Engineer of Record, and internal engineering resources to review and approve Utility Scale PV plant drawing packages at various stages of the design to ensure compliance with owner scope of work (SOW), technical specifications, applicable codes & standards, contractual documents, and good industry practices.

Provide final review of commissioning packages provided by the contractor, including final studies, design packages, submittal documents, etc. Provide review of the project punch list and completion of indicated work.

Perform visits to the project site to review project quality, workmanship, code compliance, safety, reliability, and conformance with site plans and design documents. Technical supervision to ensure that the performance of the work is correct and in accordance with the project’s contracts, specification, engineering designs, relevant standards and laws, the client’s permits, schedule, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in utility‑scale Solar PV project management, engineering, or construction

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Strong knowledge of PV systems, civil/structural/electrical engineering principles, and construction standards

Ability to interpret plans, schematics, schedules, installation manuals, and contracts

Strong communication, relationship‑building, and project coordination skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to travel up to 20%

Additional Preferred Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in Solar PV Project Management, Engineering, or Construction of utility scale projects

PE license

NABCEP certification

OSHA 30

Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and electrical engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards

Experience in reviewing 30%, 60%, 90% drawings as related to Solar projects
