Evaluate network and systems for performance and security. Provide technical assistance and training for staff. Resolve general software and cybersecurity issues. Lead IT projects including upgrades and migrations. Supervise junior IT Specialist and technical staff. Policy, Process, and Asset Management
Establish, document, and continuously maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring scalability and alignment with best practices in configuration management and incident response. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all IT assets (hardware and software), including procurement, inventory tracking, deployment, and secure disposition. Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Manage vendor relationships and service contracts. Advice on new IT methods and infrastructure improvements. Compliance
Ensure use of FedRAMP-compliant cloud services and CMMC controls. Enforce compliance with IT policies and procedures, including those related to the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Lead annual IT security training for staff. Coordinate IT strategy with executive leadership. Lead SharePoint implementation and optimization. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in IT management or senior IT roles. Proven experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations, including enterprise networking, server administration (virtualization experience preferred), and cloud computing environments (Azure or AWS). Proven experience with Microsoft SharePoint implementation and administration. Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and cybersecurity tools. Demonstrated knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations, particularly concerning PII and CUI in a Federal contracting environment. Preferred Skills
Strong practical experience applying IT infrastructure enterprise wide. Experience managing IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems and procedures. Experience with FedRAMP-authorized cloud services. Familiarity with DoD and Federal contract IT requirements. SharePoint Administration knowledge. Cybersecurity knowledge Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, or Azure Administrator are a plus. Work Environment
The work environment is a typical office, remote setting. Physical Demands
The physical demands of the job include sitting for extended periods, and occasional walking and standing. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 40-60 hours per week. Some job activities may be required outside of typical workdays/hours. Overtime may be expected during peak periods. Travel
10% local and regional travel, with overnight stays necessary. Required Education and Experience
