Director Surgical Services and Family Birth Center
Director will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations of the Surgical Services unit and oversee the Family Birth Center.
Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Surgical Services unit.
Provide general oversight of the Family Birth Center.
Coordinate with four operating rooms and a dedicated C‑section suite, performing approximately 2,000 cases annually, including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, orthopedic trauma, C‑sections, and endoscopy procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education and experience, and a Master’s degree in nursing or a related field (MSN/MBA/MHA).
Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience and three (3) years of nursing leadership experience (preferably in Surgical Services or Women’s/Children’s Services).
Current California RN license or ability to obtain one.

Pay range: $80.17 – $119.26 per hour.
Location Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, a 104‑bed not‑for‑profit hospital located in Grass Valley, California. The hospital has 21 Emergency Department beds, 765 employees, and 101 active medical staff. It is an affiliate of the Dignity Health system.
