The Sr. Solutions Architect will collaborate with Rubrik’s global MSP and MSSP partners, owning pre‑sales activities, providing technical leadership through demos and solution workshops, and driving the technical and architectural development of Rubrik‑powered services. This individual will leverage and contribute deep subject matter expertise, deliver impactful use case collateral, and create thought leadership through video content and enablement materials for MSPs.
They will define and build new services and use cases leveraging Rubrik’s Cloud Data Management, cyber resiliency, and integrated ecosystem offerings (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, etc.), ensuring that partners are empowered to rapidly adopt, operationalize, and monetize value‑added solutions.
The successful candidate will leverage deep experience in enterprise data protection, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies while collaborating with Rubrik partners worldwide.
Responsibilities
Work cross‑functionally with MSPs, MSSPs, and Rubrik teams (sales, engineering, product management, marketing) to define, architect, and productize market‑ready cloud and managed services solutions
Lead and conduct pre‑sales activities, including technical demos, workshops, and architectural reviews
Develop and publish solution collateral, including use case documentation, video content, and competitive positioning assets for the MSP channel
Enable partners through training, workshops, and technical enablement initiatives/projects
Champion new lines of business, contribute to service creation, and drive innovation in Rubrik‑powered use cases
Collaborate on service pricing models, go‑to‑market strategies, and value proposition development for MSPs
Advocate for Rubrik’s technical capabilities, build trusted relationships with partners, and deliver hands‑on technical guidance
Stay ahead of cybersecurity and cloud trends, integrating SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other security technologies into partner offerings
Contribute to global partner programs, readiness, and training; drive market adoption, customer success, and solution differentiation
Travel up to 30% worldwide to support partner enablement and events as needed
Experience
7-8 years’ proven experience in cloud solution architecture, managed services, and/or cybersecurity, ideally with direct exposure to MSP or MSSP partner ecosystems
Hands‑on technical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), XaaS, data protection, and cyber resiliency
Direct experience with competitive platforms (e.g., Cohesity, Commvault, Veeam, Veritas) in an MSP/MSSP context
Track record of delivering demos, training, technical enablement, and solution workshops to technical and business audiences
History of architecting and packaging solutions for MSP consumption, along with understanding of cloud economics (TCO, pricing, buy vs build analysis)
Experience creating technical collateral, whitepapers, and video enablement assets
Hands‑on experience with solution development, integration, and technical sales cycles
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; proven ability to evangelize, train, and inspire partners
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience integrating SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and modern security technologies into architecture designs and service offerings
Strong background supporting enterprise‑scale managed service provider programs
Prior work authoring thought leadership, solution documentation, and video collateral for external audiences
Familiarity with cloud automation, infrastructure‑as‑code, containerization, hybrid and multi‑cloud architectures
Relevant cloud and security certifications (AWS, Azure, Google, VMware, CISSP, or similar)
Experience with global project leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and competitive market analysis
Exposure to cloud economics, commercial modeling, pricing and service delivery in a channel ecosystem
US (SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC) Pay Range
$150,000—$175,000 USD
US2 (all other US offices/remote) Pay Range
$135,000—$155,000 USD
