Axos Bank is hiring a
First Vice President (FVP) of Credit Card and Unsecured Loans
to lead, manage, and implement new credit card products. The role is located onsite in San Diego, CA.
Target Salary Range:
$130,000 – $155,000 per year. Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target:
15% Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target:
15% Actual starting pay will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of new card origination strategies and marketing optimization across direct mail, digital, branch, and call centers.
Operate the product within strict regulatory compliance.
Recommend targeted acquisition segmentation, product offering optimization, risk/marketing eligibility criteria, and pricing strategies.
Oversee existing credit and debit card account engagement analytics, including plastic/purchase activation, customer loyalty and rewards strategies, inactive/dormant reactivation, and retention.
Grow portfolio balances, revenue, and profitability.
Conduct business analysis through customers' behavior and demographics, credit risk attributes, and other internal/external data, to identify high growth potential segments and underperforming segments, then present findings and recommendations to senior executives.
Partner with the marketing team to enhance effective test and learn opportunities, design and execute marketing campaigns, and significantly increase card usage across all phases of the cardholder lifecycle.
Coordinate with credit risk management to develop card product-specific credit policy (approve/decline and line assignment) for both targeted and untargeted prospects, providing full P&L analysis based on projected risk mitigation and market/revenue growth.
Support member and non-member campaign performance evaluations across all touchpoints.
Assist in evaluating and implementing targeted statistical models built by modeling team and/or vendors.
Partner with Consumer Banking and other cross-functional teams to enhance cross-sell/bundle opportunities.
Interpret analytic findings and formulate recommendations to key decision-makers.
Regularly partner with Marketing, Operations, Credit Risk, Finance, and external vendors as appropriate.
Respond to compliance, internal audit, 3rd party audit, OCC, and any other regulatory requests.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
7+ years' experience in credit cards or unsecured loans.
Management experience.
Banking/financial services background.
