Responsibilities As our Technical Architect you will guide customers on automation best practices, architecture patterns, and governance. You will lead professional services engagements and help scale automation practice.
Lead architecture in professional services engagements, including customized onboarding, statements of work, and customer enablement.
Conduct:
Business requirements sessions
Architectural designs for customer integrations and automations
Recipe reviews
Unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing guidance
Production readiness assessments and deployment procedures
Post‑live health checks and optimization guidance
Full knowledge transfer to customers and partners
Application of Workato’s GEARS and Embedded Product Guide to align with customer organisations
Serve as a Workato evangelist, demonstrating how our platform addresses automation needs across industries.
Become the trusted technical advisor for customers and partners on the Workato platform.
Create and refine content such as presentations, demos, white papers, architecture patterns, online courses, and best‑practice guides.
Lead, mentor, and train pre‑sales and post‑sales team members, as well as the partner ecosystem, on delivery best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
5+ years of technology transformation consulting with implementation experience in integration, middleware, or API‑management solutions.
Proven record leading customer or partner success in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, development, and test/release strategy.
Experience documenting business processes and applying technology to optimize and automate them.
Strong communication skills for interacting with technical, business, and C‑level stakeholders.
Deep understanding of security and governance for large enterprises.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and visual communication abilities.
Self‑starter; independent and collaborative in a distributed environment.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of work time to client sites.
Preferred Skills
Enterprise and digital architecture experience, with a Master’s degree a plus.
Knowledge of key enterprise applications: Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle EBS, and databases.
Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Ruby.
Background in a startup environment.
Continuous learning and leading innovative technology projects.
Track record of driving software expansions from professional services engagements.
Location: Colorado (Denver, Boulder, or other listed positions – single headcount open).
