We are looking for a Sr Staff Software Engineer to join Global Infra TEAM. The group develops and maintains the backend of Global Infra Platform & Cortex products. You will join a team focused on developing, innovating, and scaling the Global Infra Platform, along with contributing to shared network + compute infrastructures and components. We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, who are passionate about complex problems and thrive on bringing value to thousands of customers.
Your Impact
End-to-end backend development of features and core components across their entire life cycle (design, develop, test, deploy, maintain)
Collaborate with peers across different teams and disciplines to shape solutions and integrate with other parts of the product
Work with customers and provide solutions to their day-to-day work and challenges
Contribute to team-wide efforts - code reviews, design reviews, technical and architectural decision
Qualifications Your Experience
Education:
A Bachelor's or Master's (M.S./B.S.) degree in
Computer Science
or an equivalent technical field.
Experience:
7
+ years
of professional
Software Engineering
experience, ideally focusing on the development of scalable
server-side applications .
Programming:
Strong programming proficiency
in one or more of the following:
Python ,
Node.js , or
TypeScript .
Database Knowledge:
Solid understanding of and experience with
relational databases (SQL) ,
MongoDB , and
BigQuery .
Collaboration:
A demonstrated ability to be a
team player
with strong
communication skills
for effective collaboration across
cross-functional groups .
Core Technical Experience
Proven experience building and maintaining
high-scale server-side applications .
Experience utilizing
Cloud Platforms
such as
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ,
Amazon Web Services (AWS) , or
Microsoft Azure .
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
and managing
cloud infrastructure .
Experience with
REST APIs
(design, development, and consumption).
Knowledge of
AI/ML pipelines ,
Data Science principles , and related technologies like
Model Context Protocol
Preferred
Prior experience with
containerization
technologies, specifically
Kubernetes
and/or
Docker .

Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $145000 - $235500/YR.
